S&ME Orlando branch gets new manager

Orlando – A new branch manager has been named for the Orlando branch of S&ME, Inc. She is Maria Summerlin, a registered professional geologist, who has served the branch as a project manager and wetland specialist.

S&ME is an award-winning engineering and environmental services firm employing 850 professionals and support staff in seven southeastern states. It has operated a branch in Orlando for the past six years and offers geotechnical engineering, construction materials engineering and testing, and an array of environmental services.

Summerlin has 11 years of consulting experience. She has managed, designed and implemented a wide range of projects including underground storage tank removal and closure, wetland delineation and permitting, threatened and endangered species surveys, environmental site assessments and hazardous material assessment and remediation. She has provided services for municipalities as well as commercial, regulatory and industrial clients in Florida and throughout the Southeast.
