ENGINEERING DESIGN AND ANALYSIS

Foundation Analysis and Design to provide recommendations for shallow and deep foundation systems. Services include: bearing capacity analysis, settlement analyses, lateral load capacity, dynamic analyses, site preparation, construction method effects and ground modification feasibility.

Earth Retaining Structure Analyses and Design to develop design parameters and/or lateral earth pressure distributions for the structural design of earth retaining systems. Systems include:  mechanically stabilized earth walls, soil nail walls, geosynthetics, geogrids and geocomposite retaining systems, tied-back excavation systems and sheet pile walls.

Surface/Subsurface Stabilization to address methods to improve a site's capacity to support its intended project use. This may include stabilization through geosynthetic reinforcement, lime or cement additives, surcharging and consolidation acceleration with prefabricated vertical drains, and densification methods.

Site Dewatering and Drainage to provide design information for both temporary dewatering (particularly for foundation installation or site preparation) and for permanent site drainage and groundwater control to enable site use.

Embankment Analyses and Design to develop embankment design recommendations relative to the composition, degree of compaction and severity of slopes.
