Pactolus Landfill

This project involves a Class II industrial landfill operated by Eastman Chemical Company. S&ME has provided Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services for over a fifteen-year period. Our work has included permitting, cell construction, and cell closure. Given the location on a karst terrain, S&ME also provided recommendations for stabilizing features in the landfill footprint. In addition, S&ME conducted on-site construction inspection to implement those recommendations.
