Keith Brown serves as Senior Area Manager, responsible for operations in Raleigh and eastern North Carolina, coastal/midland South Carolina, and our Florida offices. Keith’s skillset involves mentoring our employees and expanding our market share throughout the region.
Since joining S&ME in 1994, the hallmark of Keith’s career has been his dominance of local markets, client service, and staff mentorship. He knows that the most important thing for his staff is to be excited about coming to work every day in constant pursuit of their own goals, which guides clients to success and allows S&ME to achieve our Strategic Plan. Empowering employees to develop these solutions is of paramount importance to Keith. His experiences successfully leading construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, drilling operations, and environmental services help bring a collaborative perspective to operations that is valued by fellow employees.
A graduate of North Carolina State University with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in civil engineering, Keith is a registered professional engineer in North Carolina.
