Located in North Raleigh, S&ME’s Headquarters (HQ) office serves as the heart of our organization, where leadership and operational excellence come together to support our mission of Helping You Prosper. Established in 1973 as our first office, this location continues to play a pivotal role in driving impactful solutions for our clients, partners, and community.

The Raleigh Operations team provides responsive, reliable, and high-quality services, supporting clients across the Research Triangle and North Carolina’s coastal regions, collaborating on projects that actively improve our community. S&ME’s Raleigh office provides a full range of geotechnical engineering, environmental and construction services, field exploration, transportation, and non-destructive testing services.

Our Raleigh office also features a state-of-the-art construction materials laboratory, specializing in asphalt mixtures, soil, aggregate, and concrete testing. Our lab performs over 100 different testing standards, from routine moisture-density testing and Atterberg Limits to advanced analyses like triaxial shear, permeability, and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) tests.
