We are pleased to announce that Vincent Grainger has been named Myrtle Beach and Florence Office Principal.
Vincent Grainger is a registered Professional Engineer in North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida with over 16 years of experience in construction, engineering consulting, inspection, and materials testing. He specializes in engineered construction services, including Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections, and has supported a wide range of field and laboratory testing programs across diverse project types.
Vincent joined S&ME in 2023 and most recently served as Construction Services Operations Manager in the Greensboro, NC office. He has contributed his expertise as a Construction Services Senior Reviewer and has served on both the Coatings Task Force and the Project Management Council.
In his spare time, Vincent enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and riding his motorcycle.

Although we will miss him in Greensboro, this transition exemplifies the continued growth and development we strive to foster within our team, highlighting the opportunities available through internal mobility. Vincent is eager to develop solid relationships with his new Myrtle Beach/Florence teammates and to help grow our abilities in serving clients across our entire footprint.”
As Office Principal, Vincent will be a member of the Regional Leadership Team and will play a vital role leading the Myrtle Beach and Florence teams, which are key contributors to the Region’s success.
