Matt Moler, PE, Named GBA President

Congratulations to Matt Moler, PE, who has been named the new President of the Geoprofessional Business Association (GBA), a not-for-profit association of geoprofessional firms. Matt took office during ceremonies at GBA’s annual meeting held on April 21, 2023, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
During GBA’s 2023 Spring Conference, Matt Moler thanked the Association Members for their confidence in his leadership and shared his plans to complete key elements of GBA’s 2024 Strategic Plan, elevate the value of peer groups, and make GBA’s unique educational materials more accessible to employees of member firms.
Matt has been involved in the organization for 12 years. He will serve as GBA’s President and Chair the Association’s Board of Directors.
At S&ME as Regional Director of Operations – NC + FL, Matt provides leadership to provide profitable growth, client development strategies, and strategic direction objectives of the organization. Matt has 22 years of experience, spending the entirety of his career at S&ME. He is based in our Greensboro, North Carolina office and has served in many different roles at S&ME including Geotechnical Service Line Leader, Area Manager, Principal Engineer/Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager/Senior Engineer. In addition to his accomplishments, Matt is a valued mentor for many young professionals across our footprint.
