Richland Creek Elementary School

Richland Creek Elementary School opened in 2012.  S&ME performed various services for the K-5 school including construction materials testing, geotechnical investigation, and environmental services. Our team performed a jurisdictional wetland delineation, as well as a stream buffer evaluation. A road crossing and sewer easement caused impacts to jurisdictional features and riparian buffers. As a result, S&ME assisted with the Division of Water Resources (DWR) 401 Water Quality Certification process.  Our team also provided assistance with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) 404 permitting process. Finally, S&ME coordinated field activities related to mitigation for impacts.
