Boeing Building Addition Geotechnical Exploration

S&ME provided geotechnical exploration for Boeings’ 35,000-square-foot PAC-3 Factory expansion in Huntsville, Alabama. The building consists of 18,000-square-feet area in plan and will be a steel framed building with precast concrete and steel panels. This expansion will enable Boeing to increase annual PAC-3 seeker production by more than 30% to meet increasing air and missile defense needs worldwide and is expected to be operational in early 2027.
