Cash Hollow Landfill and Closure
Our professionals provided a range of services for the closure of the Cash Hollow Landfill. Our services included groundwater investigation, surface water and private water well survey. Services also included landfill cap investigation, analysis, and localized methane gas analysis. Initially, the city proposed drilling groundwater monitoring wells at the site. The results of the investigation, however, determined that the wells would not be necessary. The Cap analysis with the surficial water and private water well analysis was conclusive. Ultimately, this provided TDEC with sufficient data to move the site toward a limited closure.
