Charleston International Airport Parking Garage

Charleston has experienced rapid growth in recent years, creating a need for additional parking capacity at the Charleston International Airport.

S&ME teams have provided support for multiple Charleston International Airport garage expansion projects. Phase 1 of the project involved S&ME geotechnical exploration and design services, lab testing, and special inspections for the completed five-level structure (called the “Daily Parking Garage”) with more than 2,400 spaces and additional customer amenities. In addition, S&ME provided geotechnical exploration and design services for Phase 2; a five level, 3,000 vehicle parking deck that is slated for construction to begin in 2024.

The parking expansion projects will improve the traveler experience, pedestrian safety, and ease of use. Read more.
