Dublin Link Pedestrian Bridge
The s-shaped Dublin Link Pedestrian Bridge in Dublin, OH is 169 feet high, 760 feet long, 14 feet wide, and includes 43 total cables, making it the largest of its kind in the world. The bridge spans across the Scioto River to connect the Riverside Crossing Park, which features infrastructure and open space designed to support all aspects of city life with public plazas, outdoor ice skating, rock climbing, river access, and nature paths available for public enjoyment.
The bridge was constructed as part of the City of Dublin’s Bridge Street Development Program and opened in 2020. Our team provided geotechnical services, including drilling and foundation recommendations. The structure includes four supported spans and one cable-stayed span. The cable-stayed span has a central pier, or pylon, located at the western bank of the Scioto River with cables anchored into the bedrock on the west side. Foundation support includes both spread and drilled shafts bearing in bedrock.
