S&ME provided natural resource permitting and stream mitigation design at Bristol Motor Speedway. Environmental impacts to the nearby Beaver Creek included exposed sewer line crossings and severely eroded banks. S&ME performed stream morphological and habitat assessments. Working closely with agencies, our team prepared “no-rise” certification  and a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). S&ME also designed 3,200 feet of onsite stream enhancement that integrated stormwater management components.  The design included in-stream structures and a cellular confinement retaining wall to accommodate existing infrastructure.
