S&ME is pleased to welcome Philip Mauney, PE, as Office Principal for our Lexington, Kentucky office.
Philip brings more than 30 years of experience in civil engineering and leadership, with a focus on infrastructure, environmental compliance, and complex project delivery. His background spans both public and private sectors, where he has led multidisciplinary teams and managed large-scale construction and operations programs.
Most recently, Philip served as Lead Engineer for Engineering, Projects, & Operations with Duke Energy in Kentucky, Indiana, North Carolina and South Carolina. In this role, he oversaw projects and landfill operations for multiple CCR assets, coordinated construction activities, managed contract budgets and negotiations, and ensured compliance with federal regulations.
Earlier in his career, Philip held engineering and leadership roles with Dayton Power & Light and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, where he contributed to highway and infrastructure projects across multi-county regions and supported large construction programs.
Philip holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Kentucky and South Carolina.
